Alright, here's another smattering from our Connection Cards. This past Sunday, September 21st, we celebrated our 5th Anniversary in the building and the 7th Anniversary of our first Movement lifeGroup.** I was saved today!
** I've been going to church my entire life, and I came to theMovement through Jason Sanford 3 years ago [Jason was one of the first people we ever baptized at theMovement; he has gone to be with the Lord --Jobey]. I have never felt so spirit filled. I love being here, and I look forward to every Sunday. I love this place!
** After giving my life over to the Lord, He has changed my perception on things that I thought would never change. He SAVED ME!!!
** I've been through several hard years- teen kids rebelling, spouse leaving, sold my dream house, major career change. But Christ never left me and I always felt Him by my side. AMEN!!
** God rose me above drugs and gave me a whole new life!
** In 2005 I had to give up my home. Only by giving it to Him is how I got blessed in His timing, I was freed up financially and given a home that was paid for.
** He saved me from my destructive life of alcohol and drugs and delivered me to a life beyond my dreams.
** When I was young, I stole for fun. After I got saved, I stole once but was immediately convicted. I asked God to take away the desire from me...and He did!!
** Congrats on changing lives in San Marcos for 5 years!!!
** Thank you for helping me bring God back into my life. I don't want to lose my way anymore. The more and more I come here I realized I needed Jesus more now than ever.
