This is the first episode of a series of mini-sodes we started doing about a year ago. It's basically a spoof of "the Office," our favorite TV show, which is a spoof of reality TV in general. So yeah, I guess it's a spoof of a spoof. In "the lifeGroup," camera crews follow the goings-on of a home fellowship led by Steve and Ellen Smallchild. Steve is the consummate lifeGroup leader, who lives out a hybrid of the "I'm the pro" swagger of 'Michael Scott' of "the Office" and the idealistic, hopeless romantic but boneheaded 'Clark Griswold' of the "Vacation" movies.
