Oil Painting...or is it Oil Pinting?

Here's the painting, I'd say about half done. It's a 6x9 oil on masonite. This is only my 2nd real try at oil.


Here's the setup...I'm sure you'll notice that the glass is a bit emptier than the painting itself. :o) It only stays cold for so long, you know.



And here's the last one I did three years ago. This was my first attempt at oil. This is a 5x7.

And here's the imaging I was looking at. I'm not like, THAT big of a Lenny fan (though I do like him), I just wanted a portrait with some extreme lighting and contrast and room for error/interpretation. This one came to mind.
